Discover the frontiers of AI development and research at the inaugural AI Institutes Engagement and Exposition Showcase.
In 2020, the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture-NIFA began establishing AI Institutes to serve as national nexus points for collaborative AI efforts spanning higher education institutions, federal agencies, industry, and nonprofits/foundations. AI institutes are multidisciplinary, multi-stakeholder teams that focus on advancing our understanding of AI and developing the future AI workforce while addressing some of society’s grand challenges.
The institutes will be exploring their cutting edge AI research in a variety of fields, as well as deliberating on the current state of AI applications in the real world. Tune into 6 panel discussions with AI experts from each institution on the Showcase Stage. The institutes will be tabling for the duration of the event, so stop by their tables to interface with the newest in AI technology and network with industry leaders and researchers.
